Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and MvpGrow Inc., doing business as AskAboutUs (“AskAboutUs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to AskAboutUs websites, applications, embedded buttons, analytics, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or another organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use the Service.

You must provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account and for managing workspace access. Notify us at once if you suspect unauthorized access.

Workspace owners and administrators may manage sites, members, integrations, and billing. Workspace members may view billing and usage but cannot purchase, change, or cancel a plan unless they have an authorized role.

You may install AskAboutUs only on websites you own or have permission to administer. You keep ownership of your prompts, labels, page rules, domains, and other content. You give us permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for your website notices, consent settings, prompts, and legal compliance. ChatGPT generates responses under OpenAI’s terms and policies. AskAboutUs does not control or guarantee those responses.

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or distribute harmful content;
• mislead visitors about your identity, affiliation, products, or services;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or usage controls;
• introduce malware or use automated systems that harm the Service; or
• resell or copy the Service unless we agree in writing.

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend access when needed to protect users, the Service, or third parties.

Plan limits apply at the workspace level. Every saved site counts toward the site limit, including sites that are still being configured. A button view counts when a configured AskAboutUs button becomes visible on a page and we accept the deduplicated impression event.

Free usage resets on the first day of each month in UTC. Paid usage resets each month on the subscription anniversary day, including for annual subscriptions. We may warn workspace owners and administrators at 80% of the allowance. After the final allowed view, we may pause new button renders until the allowance resets or you upgrade. We do not charge automatic overage fees.

Free buttons may show linked “Powered by AskAboutUs” branding. Paid features and limits remain subject to the plan displayed at purchase.

Paid plans renew automatically at the monthly or annual interval you select until you cancel. Prices appear in U.S. dollars unless checkout states otherwise. Displayed prices exclude applicable taxes. You authorize Stripe and AskAboutUs to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees, taxes, and approved adjustments.

Upgrades and monthly-to-annual changes may take effect at once with a prorated charge or credit. Downgrades, annual-to-monthly changes, and cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period. You must delete sites above the destination plan’s limit before scheduling a downgrade or cancellation.

If a renewal payment fails, paid functionality may continue during a seven-day grace period while Stripe retries payment. We may pause live buttons and paid integrations if payment remains unresolved. Eligible features resume after payment succeeds.

You can cancel from the Billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not erase charges already due. Payments are non-refundable except when the law requires a refund or AskAboutUs approves one case by case.

Promotion terms displayed at redemption form part of these Terms. Unless stated otherwise, promotions apply once, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined. The LAUNCH offer applies to new paid workspaces, the first 100 eligible redemptions, and the 30-day period that begins on the published production launch date. Monthly plans receive the first monthly invoice free. Annual plans receive a first-invoice discount equal to one month of the selected plan.

We may reject or reverse a promotion obtained through error, fraud, duplicate accounts, or a violation of its terms.

AskAboutUs attribution and analytics are estimates and may differ from other reporting tools. We do not guarantee that a button click will lead to a ChatGPT response, website visit, or conversion.

The Service works with third-party products such as Stripe, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend, and ChatGPT. Your use of those products may be governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party products or changes to them.

AskAboutUs and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account remains active and you comply with these Terms.

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment. We will not identify you publicly as the source without permission.

We may change, add, or remove features and may perform maintenance that interrupts the Service. We do not promise an uptime level, onboarding, or priority support unless a separate written agreement says so. We may change prices for a future billing period after giving any notice required by law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law, AskAboutUs and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service.

Our total liability for all claims arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid AskAboutUs during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you used only a free plan. The limits in this section do not apply where the law prohibits them.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due, or misuse the Service. When practical, we will give you notice and a chance to correct the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits.

Delaware state law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Service. These Terms and any written order or plan terms form the entire agreement about the Service.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice through the Service or by email when required. Continuing to use the Service after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.
